Let me introduce myself

After a period of 20 years working in various positions for the Dutch government, and 6 years as international consultant for UNESCO, I started my own company in 1995.

My work allowed me to participate in a wide panorama of projects and other activities, meet many beautiful people and visit many interesting places around the world, with geographic focus on Latin America.

Currently I am still involved in activities in several countries of Latin America and the Caribbean, related to subjects including:

• the operational application of satellite observations, such as for air quality management and integrated management of environment and biodiversity.
• the adequate organization of data and information as a basis for sustainable development, and issues such as disaster management and preparation for the impacts of climate change
• the Dutch Building with Nature concept as a basis for holistic and sustainable marine-coastal development
